So last week I went to Cornwall! My first stop was the little village of Looe. It felt almost like a spring day walking hand in hand through the little walkways and cobbled streets. The view from the beach was incredible, it almost felt as if we weren’t in the UK! I also had a Cornish Pasty and tried Cornish fudge. Such a small quiet village, a perfect escape from a hectic life.

Cornwall Video
I had an amazing time in Cornwall this past week. It has become a place I have fallen in love with! The past week I filmed my time there, from the multiple places I visited to the traveling there. So go check it out!
The Gallery: Canterbury
I think I love Canterbury. It is my favourite place to just walk around and get lost. There is so much to explore! The Cathedral is the number one place to visit (although at the moment it is under renovation – sad times). The Marlowe always has a great show, I’ve been lucky to go twice and both shows were amazing. Canterbury at Christmas is also magical (if all the lights turn on)! Just go exploring, go shopping, go on a boat tour, or grab a hot chocolate at Tiny Tim’s! (You won’t regret it!).
Writing: Theme Park
Here’s another poem, this piece was composed from a short story I had written back in Sixth Form. Again this was written in first year for my portfolio. So give it a read!

Choosing the Right University
‘The whole purpose of education is to turn mirrors into windows’ – Sydney Harris
Right now universities are giving out thousands of offers to potential new students. Some can be tempting, some can confuse, and some can really stress you out. Parents can be influencing your decision (intentionally or unintentionally) and that can really place you at a crossroads. So, I’m going to share with you my own university decision story, one which I hope can be of help.
Gallery: Exploring Norfolk
Norfolk is my family’s go to holiday destination, I think I pretty much know it like the back of my hand! From exploring the architecture of Norwich, to the sandy beaches of Great Yarmouth, to the legendary Norfolk Broads. There is pretty much something for everyone. My number one tip is to go during peak season, most of the amusements and tours don’t really run off peak, as my family found out one year.
Writing: Casa del Fauno
I thought it would be interesting to share with you some of my creative writing I have composed at university. This piece was written in my first year reflecting on my time in Pompeii.
The Gallery: Forest Travels
Sometimes it is amazing what you can find just going for walks; sometimes you find something beautiful. I love random trips through woods, it’s amazing what you can discover. During this trip I went with my friend to Whitsable; it was a long journey but well worth it. Of course it was cold, and I did slip over, which I can now laugh about. But I truly enjoyed the walk, hey I am a Rambler for a reason.
