‘A smile can hide a thousand tears, a scar can tell a single truth…’
This is a difficult subject for me to write about, yet I feel it is important that it is discussed and bought into the light. I plan to talk about my own personal experiences with mental health and how I have (or rather trying) to get through it.
Here are a few photos from my trip to Cornwall last month. This is the quaint village of Polperro. It was a beautiful and cute place with plenty of natural wonders. We went walking along the cliffs to find this tiny lighthouse; it was well worth it.
Here is another piece of writing; however, this time it is an extract from short story that I wrote in first year. It was strange re-reading this piece over a year later and I feel as if I have grown a lot as a writer. Also just a warning; this extract is a little gory and explores themes of murder, death and torture. So do not read on if this is not something you will enjoy reading.
With the snowy weather hitting the UK last week, I thought I’d post a few pics of snowy Canterbury. I feel like snow really gives the city a magical feeling. Now I want it to be Christmas again! The feel of crunching snow under your feet and the flecks of snow falling from the sky is something you just can’t beat!

So I’ve had a bit of time to do some research on my chosen study abroad country; so here is a short list of a few things I want to see and do in Denmark while I study here. Let’s see how many I can tick off!
